The Pergola is surprisingly simple to build. You only need a portable circular saw, router, jig saw, a drill, and a few hand tools. A table saw makes ripping the narrow slats easier, but isn't essential. We even show you step-by-step how to scribe and cut the posts against the house so that they're flush with lap siding.
