 This cherry Hall Table is based on the timeless quality of Shaker design. Traditionally, Shaker tables have tapered legs -- sometimes turned (round), sometimes square. This version has legs with a square taper cut on a table saw. The top is made by edge-gluing boards together to form a large blank. The drawers can be made with either a locking rabbit joint or dovetails.
(If you happen to have a Woodsmith Dovetail Jig, these drawers are sized so the
dovetails will work out evenly.)
The overall size of the table is 42" wide x 14-1/2" deep x 29" high.
