Dining Table Woodworking Plan

Dining TableBeneath this table top are two extension leaves. But they work a little differently than the extension leaves of most tables. Typically, a table like this is cut in half and each half is attached to some sort of runner hardware. To extend the table, you pull the two halves apart and the leaves drop in on top of the runners.

With this table, the leaves are attached to the runners. When you want to extend the table, lift up one end of the top and pull out a leaf. When the leaf is fully extended, the table top drops down and rests on the runners. So the leaves are stored right in the table itself. woodworking plan chairs

CONSTRUCTION. The legs and main parts of the Dining Table are made of solid red oak. The top and leaves are made of 3/4" oak plywood. The overall dimensions are 29" high x 35" wide x 97-3/4" long.
